Water damage can occur to wood flooring following a range of normal everyday events.  Broken or leaky pipes, storm weather events, or something as innocuous as a bath left unattended and the same bath subsequently over flowing.

Secondary damage to flooring and buildings not properly and thoroughly assessed.

Secondary damage is incurred by way of mould and further decay due to water acclimating through the building structure. Furthermore it can even cause the flooring repair to fail due to the saturation of the building not being professionally dried.

Drying Water Damaged Floors and Building Structures

  • We prove the amount of bound water and excessive moisture content by way of digital moisture testing, then apply non-destructive structural drying equipment and procedures.
  • Removing this water is done by way of forced extraction, removing the excess water from the building. Extracting this bound water is the only way to ensure the correct remediation is achieved.
  • Wet buildings can be a continued health risk to owners/occupants with air quality affected by living in damp and/or wet conditions.
  • All testing and data is recorded to provide proof and guarantee of all results found and achieved, and that our service has been completed to the highest standards of National and International Guidelines.
  • In some cases flooring can be saved and restored to pre loss condition by removing the water via our structural drying extraction methods.
  • In most cases we need the occupants to be relocated during the drying process to ensure we can control the drying conditions and due to the machinery under constant use.

Even a minor pipe leak can cause serious damage to ceilings, carpet, and hardwood flooring. A leak can leave visible water stains and other damage that’s irreversible, plus it can cause mould, which is hazardous to your health.

The most common symptom of high humidity or direct water exposure is floorboard warping (Includes buckling, cupping and bubbling).
